PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution and to shorten the adjustment time by connecting an adjusting device which has an arithmetic function and a control function which is provided outside the camera to the central processor in the camera, writing the difference between a reference value and a measured value as a correction value in the central processor, and then disconnecting the adjusting device from the camera.

CONSTITUTION: The adjusting device 8 is provided outside the camera and connected to the main CPU 1 on the camera side by having a terminal 8a connected to a camera-side terminal 6a. Further, the adjusting device 8 is connected to a measuring instrument 9 by a cable 10 and the difference between the measured value obtained by this measuring instrument 8 and the reference value is calculated and stored as an adjustment value in the main CPU 1. Then respective mechanisms are controlled by performing arithmetic operation in consideration of the adjustment value after the difference is stored as the adjustment value in the main CPU 1 automatically. Consequently, neither an eccentric pin for semi-fixed resistance components are used, so the constitution is simple and the adjustment time can be shortened.
