To provide a functional semiconductor switching array in which a continuous operation is attained without interrupting the operation of the device even when a power element is overheated.
The device is provided with a power semiconductor switching array 1 (power transistor array) including semiconductor power elements 1a such as a plurality of power transistors and a temperature monitor element 2 imbeded in the power semiconductor switching array 1, and the power semiconductor switching array 1 is provided with a control circuit section 3 that is operated based on an output from the temperature monitor element 2 and applies drive control to the power semiconductor switching array 1. Then the control circuit section 3 is provided with a power element conduction stop control function that is operated when the temperature monitor element 2 detects a temperature over a prescribed temperature and applies stop control to at least one semiconductor power element 1a in the power semiconductor switching array 1.
