Abstract:
To provide a functional trithiocarbonate RAFT agent.
The invention provides a free radical controlling agent having a structural formula shown in the figure (R1 is a 1-12C bivalent alkyl group; R2 and R3 are each independently hydrogen or a 1-12C alkyl group; R4 is -OH or -COOH, provided that the total number of carbon atoms of R1, R2 and R3 is ≤12; and Y is a functional group activating a vinyl carbon for the addition of a free radical).
