PURPOSE: To prevent scattering of a toner at the time of replacement of a fur brush roll, and also to attach and detach easily the fur brush roll and a corotron by providing so as to be freely turnable a cleaning unit provided with the fur brush roll and the corotron.
CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive body 4 and a cleaning unit 6 are provided on a frame-shaped holding member B which is provided so as to be drawn out and inserted freely to a copying machine body A. This unit 6 is provided with fur brush rolls 21, 21', a destaticizing corotron 9 and an electrostatic charging corotron 10. Also, the unit 6 is formed so as to be turnable about 180° extending over a cleaning position contacting to the photosensitive body 4 and an inverted position spacing the photosensitive body 4. By forming in this way, the scattering of a toner is prevented at the time of replacement of the fur brush roll, and also the fur brush roll and the corotron can be attached and detached easily.
