Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace core tube that can be used in a furnace at 1300°C or less, and has excellent durability and temperature controlling properties.SOLUTION: A furnace core tube has a metal cylindrical tube 1, the internal surface of which is coated with a glass material 2 of 1-5 mm in thickness. The glass material 2 has a melting point of 1300°C or more and a thermal expansivity of 9×10-17×10/K or less, and contains following components: SiO: 50-70 wt.%, preferably 58-63 wt.%, AlO: 10-23 wt.%, preferably 12-20 wt.%, FeO: 0.05-0.5 wt.%, preferably 0.2-0.4 wt.%, CaO: 10-18 wt.%, preferably 10-16 wt.%, NaO: 1-2 wt.%, preferably 1-2 wt.%, KO: 4-6 wt.%, preferably 4-6 wt.%, and MgO: 0.01-0.5 wt.%, preferably 0.05-0.4 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
