Abstract:
To improve design and strength and to reduce efforts in a manufacturing step in a chair whose leg device is composed of a plurality of rod-like legs and which is provided with a footrest ring.SOLUTION: Respective rod-like legs 1 take inclined postures, and upper parts are integrally connected via a base 3. To a group of rod-like legs 1, a footrest ring 8 is welded in an inscribed state, and notch parts 49 where the footrest ring 8 is partially engaged with the respective rod-like legs 1 is formed. Since the footrest ring 8 and the rod-like legs 1 engage each other, integrity of the two increases and is excellent in terms of design, and the height of the footrest ring is automatically regulated, so that efforts in a manufacturing step can be reduced. Weight operating on the footrest ring 8 is supported by the notch parts 49 of the rod-like legs 1, so that great strength can be secured without excessive thickening and welding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
