In the furniture, a first horizontal groove (5) is formed on a bottom plate (3) of a drawer (1) for storing the waste papers in a left/right direction and first vertical grooves (9a), (9b) continuing to the first horizontal groove are formed on inner surfaces of left and right side plates (7a), (7b) of the drawer. Second horizontal grooves (11a), (11b) continuing to the first vertical grooves are formed on upper edges of the respective side plates in a front direction and a first bundling string (12) is inserted to the first horizontal groove, the first vertical grooves and the second horizontal grooves. A third horizontal groove (13) is formed on a bottom plate of the drawer in a forward/rearward direction and second vertical grooves (19a), (19b) continuing to the third horizontal groove are formed on inner surfaces of a front plate (15) and a back plate (17) of the drawer. Fourth horizontal grooves (21a), (21b) continuing to the second vertical grooves are formed on upper edges of the front plate and the back plate and a second bundling string (23) is inserted to the third horizontal groove, the second vertical grooves and the fourth horizontal grooves. The furniture is provided with a means for pressing the waste paper in the drawer above the drawer.
