Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interrupt an abnormal current more quickly, by enhancing the reliability of a fuse element when a heavy load is used.SOLUTION: A fuse element of a Cu alloy has a composition containing 0.1-0.2 wt% of Ti, or 0.03-0.08 wt% of Zr, and the reminder of Cu and inevitable impurities. Following to Ag plating or Ni plating acting as a barrier layer on the surface of the Cu alloy, Sn plating may be performed on the surface thereof.
