Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect a human immunocompetent cell strain for elucidating phenomena of an immune system using a human cell strain, namely the mechanism of allergy, cancer, etc., retrieving food functions, searching and producing new medicines so as to prevent, to diagnose and to treat these diseases.
SOLUTION: In selecting 8-azaguanine or 6-thioguanine-resistant clone from any cell strain of cell strain Raji derived from human Burkitt's lymphoma, human T cell leukemic cell strain PEER and human eosinophilic leukocyte leukemic cell strain EoLI and further using a human immunocompetent fused cell strain comprising any of ICLU-B, ICLU-T and ICLU-E which are each a variant to enable a serum-free culture as a parent cell strain, a parent cell strain ICLU-T for human cell fusion and a human immunocompetent cell to prepare a fused cell, the preparation is carried out in the presence of a polyethylene glycol.
