Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent temperature of a slag discharge hole from being lowered and stably discharge fused slag by forcedly extracting gas by means of an induced draft fan provided in a gas-extracting line one end of which communicates with a space below the slag discharge hole and implementing control in such a manner as to keep the rate of gas extraction constant.
CONSTITUTION: A gas-extracting line 14 comprises a desuperheater 15, a flow rate detector 16, flow regulating valves 17, 15, a flow rate detector 16, a flow regulating valve 17 and an induced draft fan 18, and one end of the line 14 is connected to and communicates with a space below a slag discharge hole 6 and another end of the line 14 is connected to and communicates with an auxiliary combustion chamber 5. Extraction gas extracted after passage through the slag discharge hole 6 from the auxiliary combustion chamber 5 is cooled by the desuperheater 15 and forcedly induced by the induced draft fan 18. The amount of the extracted gas is detected by the flow rate detector 16 and on the basis of the detected value a flow controller 19 operates the flow regulating valve 17 in such a manner as to keep the extraction rate of the gas constant, Thus, temperature of the slag discharge hole 6 is prevented from being lowered and molten slag can stably be discharged.
