Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a compact-sized air feeding nozzle for third air for performing a complete combustion at a combustion furnace and to improve a combustion efficiency in a system comprised of a vertical main combustion device, a sub-combustion device inclined in respect to a horizontal level and the combustion furnace for making a complete combustion of the produced gas and char.
CONSTITUTION: In the prior art, a third air feeding nozzle was aranged to enclose an inlet port of a combustion furnace 10. However, in the present invention, the feeding nozzle is arranged at an upstream end of an upstream side laterally directed gas duel 9 and then the gas and air are uniformly pre-mixed within the lateral gas duct 9.
