Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten glass transfer device capable of insulating electrically each pipe material so that each temperature of a plurality of pipe materials constituting a passage of molten glass can be controlled.SOLUTION: In a molten glass transfer device, first and second pipe materials 11, 12 made of platinum or a platinum alloy, and having flanges 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b on each end in the axial direction are included, and each pipe material 11, 12 are juxtaposed in the state where one flange 11b of the first pipe material 11 is faced to one flange 12a of the second pipe material 12a, to thereby constitute a passage F for circulating molten glass therethrough. An insulator layer 13 for insulating electrically each pipe material 11, 12 is provided between the flanges 11b, 12a of each pipe material 11, 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
