Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing ammonium sulfate capable of reducing the time required for recrystallizing ammonium sulfate to improve working rate of equipment, and further, producing ammonium sulfate in a reduced energy using amount.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing powder of ammonium sulfate in such a manner that ammonium sulfate is crystallized out from an ammonium sulfate aqueous solution L in a crystallization apparatus 10 including: a crystallization tank 11 into which the ammonium sulfate aqueous solution L is introduced; and an evaporation tank 13 where water is evaporated from the ammonium sulfate aqueous solution L so as to be concentrated. The method for producing ammonium sulfate comprises a dissolution step where, when the ammonium sulfate aqueous solution L is transferred to the crystallization tank 11 from the evaporation tank 13 via a transfer pipe 19, the ammonium sulfate aqueous solution L in the transfer pipe 19 is heated, and the temperature of the ammonium sulfate aqueous solution L is increased to dissolve the crystals of the ammonium sulfate crystallized at the inside of the transfer pipe 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
