To provide a game machine for preventing disadvantage of a player since the number of lent game media cannot be stored because of detection abnormality regardless of actual lending of the game media.
In a slot machine 1, where one can play a game by using credit balls stored in a credit counter, lending control is performed to put out a prescribed number of game balls from a put-out unit 200 on the based of reception of a lending request notification, and the number of captured balls, where a captured ball detection switch 203 detects the game ball put out for passing through a capturing passage 220, is added to the credit counter. Also, a put-out control unit 61 determines detection anomaly of captured balls by the captured ball detection switch 203, and suspends put-out operation by the put-out unit 200 and then stops lending control under execution when determining that detection anomaly is caused.
