To provide a garbage disposal device with such a functional advantage that garbage does not stick firmly to the inner wall of a processing tank.
This garbage disposal device has such a construction that a rotary shaft with implanted stirring claws is suspended in the processing tank having a garbage loading aperture formed on the top. In this device, the length of the stirring claw is almost equal to the curvature radius of the inner wall bottom part of the processing tank so that the tip of the stirring claw touches the inner wall bottom part of the tank, and at the same time, at least the tip of the stirring claw is constituted of an elastic material. The tip of the stirring claw may be widened in the direction of the rotary shaft of the stirring claw so that the entire inner wall bottom part of the processing tank comes into contact with the tip of any one of the stirring claws. A helical groove may be formed at the tip of the stirring claw.
