To provide a method for treating incineration ashes and/or fly ashes to fix heavy metals by hydrothermal process, incineration process or the like and removing other harmful substances required as recycling sources.
The incineration residue can be used as the recycling resources by the following methods:the method for baking incineration ash and/or fl ash generated by an urban refuse incinerator and an industrial waste incinerator at 1,300°C or lower and fixing chromium contained in the incineration ash and/or the fly ash as a chromium compound; the method for adjusting the content of a reducing agent to 0.5 wt.% or higher and baking the incineration ash and/or the fly ash at 1,200°C baking temperature or lower and further, fixing the chromium contained in the incineration ash and/or the fly ash as the chromium compound; the method for adding a flux to the incineration ash and/or the fly ash and baking the incineration ash and/or the fly ash at 700°C or higher and fixing the chromium contained in the incineration ash and/or the fly ash as the chromium compound; the method for dampening the incineration ash and/or the fly ash whose chemical composition ratio (weight ratio) is adjusted toAl2O3:SiO2: CaO=1.7±0.2:1.0±0.2:2.8±0.2 with water and applying a hydrothermal treatment to the incineration ash and/or the fly ash at a specific temperature of 100-200°C and further, fixing the chromium contained in the incineration ash and/or the fly ash as the chromium compound. In addition, the method is provided which molds and bakes the incineration ash and/or the fly ash by an appropriate process and an appropriate means and thereby manufactures a sintered product and further, uses it as artificial aggregates or the like as the recycled resources.
