To provide a garbage disposal system capable of reporting a proper disposal period of a dried matter to a user and not generating trouble such that a disposer is continuously used without knowing the proper disposal period to generate the overflow of the dried matter and the stored dried matter absorbs moisture to be raised in water content and an offensive smell, or the like, is generated by fungi.
This garbage disposal system is equipped with a solid-liquid separator 3 for separating a solid-liquid mixture containing ground garbage ground by the disposer 1 into a solid component and a liquid component, a solid treatment device 4 for subjecting the separated solid component drying treatment and a liquid treatment device 5 for treating the separated liquid component. The garbage treatment system is further equipped with a detection means for detecting the amount of the dried matter stored in a dried matter storage part 42 of the solid treatment device 4 and a control means for issuing information so as to discard the dried matter or to restrict the use of the disposer when the detection means detects that the dried matter is stored in a prescribed amount or more.
