To provide a garbage disposal unit in which garbage stuck to the inner side face of a garbage storage vessel is removed, and garbage at the upper part inside the garbage storage vessel is swiftly stirred to increase stirring efficiency, and further, a hot air caused to flow in the garbage storage vessel is efficiently blown on the cooperation portions of a fixed blade and a rotary stirring blade to increase the drying efficiency of garbage.
The garbage disposal unit is provided with: a garbage storage vessel 4 arranged in a freely unloadable fashion inside a body case 1 and drying garbage; a heating means 14 heating the garbage inside the garbage storage vessel 4; a hot air sending means 15 sending a hot air heated by the heating means 14 to the garbage storage vessel 4; a fixed blade 5 provided at the lower inside face of the garbage disposal vessel 4; and a rotary stirring blade 6 stirring the garbage in cooperation with the fixed blade 5. One side of the rotary stirring blade 6 is raised along the inside face of the garbage storage vessel 4 up to the height about half that of the garbage storage vessel 4. Further, the fixed blade 5 is located on a hot air passage 23 inside the garbage storage vessel formed by the heating means 14 and the hot air sending means 15.
