To provide a garbage disposer wherein garbage can be conveyed uniformly without fail from a conveying section to a treatment tank even when a long conveying duct is interposed between them.

The garbage disposer 10 has a cast/break section 11 provided with a break section 12 and a conveying section 17 and disposed under the drainage port 4 of a sink 3. The break section 12 is provided with a fixed blade 15 fixed to the inner circumference of a case 13 and a breaking hammer 16 disposed on a rotary plate 14. The fixed blade 15 has a cutting section 151 on its semicircular part and a non-cutting section 152 without the cutting section 151 on its remaining semicircular section. The conveying part 17 is equipped with an impeller 18 which rotates together with the rotary plate 14. The impeller 18 has a projected blade 183 on its top so as to intensively attack broken garbage. The part of the fixed blade 15 which is opposed to the position 171 in which the broken garbage is attacked by the impeller 10 coincides with the non-cutting section 152.
