Abstract:
To reduce the emission of a malodor while saving energy.
Oxidation catalysts 27 and 30 are set respectively at the positions on the upstream and downstream sides in a catalytic deodorizer 20. An electric power is supplied to each of heaters on both sides to activate the catalysts on both sides at the climax of a drying stage where the malodor strength detected by an odor sensor is high, and the power supply to the heater on the downstream side is stopped when the strength is within the specified range after the climax. The energy-saving operation is maintained in this way.
