The garbage crushing/drying apparatus 4 has a function for crushing/drying the garbage 7 thrown from the garbage throwing apparatus 3. Further, the garbage crushing/drying apparatus 4 is constituted so as to be provided with a treatment vessel 42 having a discharge port opened/closed by a cover unit 58; and a stirring impeller 44 turnably provided in the treatment vessel 42. Further, a garbage bag is mounted to the discharge port by a garbage bag adapter. By being provided with such a constitution, the treated dried garbage powder is discharged from the inside of the treatment vessel 42 and is stored in the garbage bag by mounting the garbage bag, opening the discharge port 53 by the cover unit 58 and reciprocating the stirring impeller 44 relative to the discharge port 53 by a predetermined number.
