Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a safety gas burner which scarcely produces a backfire and is barely distorted by heat.
CONSTITUTION: A gas mixture of a combustible gas and air is supplied into a mixture gas chamber 2 and spouted outside through a nozzle 6 which is mounted on a wall of the mixture gas chamber 2 with its spout protruding outside from the wall. An air chamber 3 is provided so that cooling air flows along the peripheral part of the nozzle 6 that protrudes from the gas mixture chamber 2 and along the wall of the gas mixture chamber 2 on which the nozzle 6 is mounted, and has air outlets 9 to blow the cooling air inside the air chamber 3 to around the spout of the nozzle 6. The cooling air that flows inside the air chamber is used not only as cooling air for the nozzle 6 and the gas mixture chamber 2 but also as combustion air.
