PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an aeration bowl being used for a gas cooking appliance or the like, having a central opening which is so provided as to face an opening of a top plate of the body of the appliance and through which a burner of the appliance is inserted, being installed at the peripheral edge part of this opening by the outer peripheral edge part thereof, and having a simple structure without depending on the shape and the size of a grate, so that cleaning or other maintenance be facilitated, that straightened secondary air can be supplied to a combusting part of the burner so as to prevent a combustion fault of the burner, and also that penetration of broth into vents for taking in the secondary air and pollution thereof with the broth can be prevented.
SOLUTION: In the gas cooking appliance equipped with the aeration bowl having the central opening which is so provided as to face the opening of the top plate of the body of the appliance and through which the burner of the appliance is inserted, and being installed at the peripheral edge part of this opening by the outer peripheral edge part thereof the vents in a plurality are opened in the lateral wall of the aeration bowl, while eaves parts extending inside the bowl are provided at the upper ends of the vents.
