Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas diffused electrode for a fuel cell, with high dimension stability and flexibility, capable of manufacturing at low cost. SOLUTION: A gas diffused electrode contains at least one catalyst component and at least one polymer material, the catalyst is buried in a fiber net structure, the fiber nonwoven net structure preferably has a density of less than 0.3g/cm<3> , and the fiber is made of carbon, glass, polymer, metal, or ceramic, and has 0.2-50μm diameter and 0.5-300mm length, the catalyst component is at least one metal or metal oxide powder finely divided and not carried, or metal, at least one noble metal, transition metal, or carbon black dispersed on a carbon carrier.
