Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of enhancing responsibility when inputting load, in a gas engine capable of executing fuel injection turbocharging operation by passing combustion air introduced into an intake channel through the blower of a turbocharger, forming mixed gas by injecting fuel gas compressed by a gas compressor to the combustion air passing through the blower of the turbocharger, and introducing the formed mixed gas into a combustion chamber compressing the same and combusting the same.SOLUTION: A gas engine is constituted so as to be able to execute premixing forcible turbocharging operation in which a mixed gas M is formed in an intake channel 7 by mixing fuel gas G introduced into a gas channel 10 to combustion air A introduced into the intake channel 7, at least a portion of the formed mixed gas M is introduced into the gas channel 9 and is compressed by a gas compressor, and the compressed mixed gas M is introduced a combustion chamber 2, is compressed, and is combusted, instead of fuel injection turbocharging operation.
