Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a continuous extraction of dried powder of desired moisture rate while powder particles with high moisture rate of 50% or more such as raw bean-curd refuse, Japanese spirits-lees distilled from sweet potatoes, rice and the like, beer-lees, juice-lees that cannot be processed through an indirect heating or a fluidized drying are being fed continuously into a single drying box.
SOLUTION: There are provided (a) a drying cylinder comprised of a cylindrical upper half segment, a cone-like lower half segment, a lid plate and a bottom plate; (b) a gas and dried powder particle discharging pipe fixed to the uppermost segment of the drying cylinder in a tangential direction in respect to the cylinder; (c) a circulation duct in which a circulating gas extracting pipe fixed at a lower position than that of the discharging pipe in a tangential direction in respect to the cylinder is connected to a circulating gas blowing pipe fixed near a bottom plate of a cone-like lower half segment in a tangential direction through a circulating fan; (d) a high moisture rate powder particle supplying pipe connected to a suction side of the circulating fan; and (e) a hot air supplying pipe arranged at a cone-like lower half segment of the drying cylinder in its tangential direction.
