Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator capable of attaining ON-OFF operations of a circuit for signal transmission by using the piezoelectric actuator itself as a part of the circuit for signal transmission.
SOLUTION: In this piezoelectric actuator, a monomorphic device 10 is constituted by affixing a flat piezoelectric device 12 onto a reinforcing plate 11 made of a resin sheet 13 and metal foil 14a, 14b laminated on each other. The metal foil 14b is always connected to a circuit A, and the metal foil 14a is used as a conductive path of the circuit for signal transmission. The circuit A and a circuit B are connected by controlling the bending of the monomorphic device 10, so as to bring the metal foil 14b into contact with a contact member 17a connected to the circuit B, and are disconnected by separating the metal foil 14b from the contact member 17a.
