Abstract:
To provide a gas meter advantageous for quickly grasping damage due to an earthquake when the earthquake occurs in an area in which the gas meter is installed.SOLUTION: A gas meter 10 includes: an acceleration sensor 18 for measuring an acceleration value; a control section 16 for obtaining data related to a quake when an earthquake occurs on the basis of the acceleration value and calling an outside 80 for specific data; a call timing control section 16a for identifying a call level on the basis of data about the earthquake of which data to be called and determining a call timing to call for the data on the basis of the call level; and a communication section 24 for communicating with the outside 80 regarding calling for the data. The control section 16 makes the communication section 24 call the data about the earthquake of which data to be called to the outside 80 when the call timing elapses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
