Abstract:

To provide a vehicle body attachment bracket capable of implementing both of a function as an attachment to a vehicle body and a function for supporting a column jacket, despite a configuration thereof formed of one metal plate.SOLUTION: A vehicle body attachment bracket 1 holding a column jacket 2 is formed of one metal plate that is bent into an arch shape with an open bottom. The attachment bracket 1 comprises: a pair of side wall parts 8 interposing the column jacket 2 from both sides; and a bridge part 9 connecting these side wall parts 8 to each other; a front wall part 10 and a rear wall part 11 being folded from front and rear sides of the side wall part 8 outward; and attachment wall parts 12 each having a two-layer structure formed of folded pieces 10a, 11a overlapping with each other by being folded respectively from the front wall part 10 and the rear wall part 11 toward respective others.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
