Abstract:
To provide a gas meter capable of suppressing intrusion of rainwater into a vent hole.SOLUTION: In the gas meter 10, a vent hole 13B is opened in a ceiling surface 64A of a lower surface groove 64 of a meter case 11. And, at a lower end of a belt-like region extending upward from a groove end opening 65 of the lower surface groove 64 with substantially the same lateral width, a laterally inclined guide surface 90 that is inclined with respect to a lateral direction H1 is formed in a stepped shape. A vertical dam surface 91 rises from a lower end of the laterally inclined guide surface 90. Thereby, rainwater flowing down in the belt-like region is guided by the laterally inclined guide surface 90 to one side of the belt-like region and then dammed by a vertical damming surface 91 and is discharged to one side edge of the groove end opening 65 from a rainwater discharge portion 93 at one end of an intersection between the laterally inclined guide surface 90 and the vertical damming surface 91.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
