To provide a gas spring short in its total length, and simple in the manufacturing process, in a gas spring having a bellows.
The metallic bellows substantially coaxially arranged with a cylinder are arranged between an outer cylinder and the cylinder. A bellows inner chamber partitioned by the inside of the bellows and the outside of the cylinder, is communicated with a cylinder chamber partitioned by the cylinder, a piston and a rod side plate, to be formed as an oil chamber of filling a hydraulic fluid inside, and the gas spring is also constituted with a bellows outer chamber as a high pressure gas chamber sealed with gas of predetermined pressure. Thus, the gas spring capable of applying pressure by the bellows, shortening the total length and easy in manufacture, can be provided.
