Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification apparatus which is excellent in operability and reliability and efficiently produces a gaseous fuel from a solid or liq. fuel.
SOLUTION: This apparatus contains a gasification oven 5 for gasifying a solid or liq. fuel by using air or an oxygen-contg. gas or vapor as a gasification agent, a gas cooling apparatus 7 for cooling a product gas produced by the gasification, a char recycling apparatus for recovering carbon-contg. substances from the product gas cooled with the gas cooling apparatus 7 and for supplying the substances to the gasification oven 5, and a contaminant elimination apparatus installed at any point in the line from the exit of the oven 5 to the char burner 4 of the oven 5.
