Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use this gasket as a joint filler for concrete pavement having excellent workability and durability.
SOLUTION: A gasket 10 is inserted and installed into the joint section 16 of concrete pavement and made of an EPDM. The sectional shape of the gasket 10 consists of a cover-shaped surface layer section 11 placed at a top section under a mounted state, a partition wall section 12 downwards extended from the cover-shaped surface layer section 11 and rib sections 13 projected and elongated at a plurality of stages respectively on both sides from the partition wall section 12, and glass fiber 15 is inserted and arranged in the extending direction of the gasket 10 at a lower end section in the partition wall section 12. The gasket 10 is inserted and set up into the joint section 16 composed of a striation 20 formed to a lower section from a paved surface along the joint section 16 and an inserting groove 21 forming grooves at two stages together with the striation by expanding the upper end section of the striation 20 under the state, in which the gasket 10 is compressed in the cross direction.
