Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket capable of reliably securing high sealing performance.SOLUTION: To seal a space between the end of a first exhaust pipe 11 and the end of a second exhaust pipe 12, a gasket 1 is mounted between a first flange 21 of the first exhaust pipe and a second flange 22 of the second exhaust pipe in the state of being externally fitted to the end of the first exhaust pipe. The gasket 1 includes a first seal part 51 and a second seal part 52. The first seal part has a first abutting face 51a having a tapered shape corresponding to the tapered shape of a first tapered inner peripheral face 27a of the first flange, and a first protruded part 51b. It is formed on the radial outside of the gasket. The second seal part has a second abutting face 52a having a tapered shape corresponding to the tapered shape of a second tapered inner peripheral face of the second flange, and a second protruded part 52b.
