Abstract:

PURPOSE: To unifify the rigidity so as to embody a highly accurate action control in a simple way.
CONSTITUTION: Arm expansion mechanism 13 elastically expandable in the axial direction of the boom 10b of articulated arm mechanism 10 is interposed at the intermediate part of the boom 10b. Due to the resiliency of the arm expansion mechanism 13, the rigidity in the axial direction of the boom 10b is lowered, and the rigidity in the direction approximately orthogonal to the boom axis is made equivalent to the axial rigidity so as to uniform the rigidity of the articulated arm mechanism 10. The prevention of fluctuation of force/ position gain at the operating time is thereby accelerated to achieve the expected purpose.
