Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an improved gate charge recovering circuit for use in combination with a gate drive type semiconductor device.
CONSTITUTION: A gate charge recovering circuit prevents a voltage spike from appearing across a resistor R1 for detection used to detect a current flowing through the switch terminal of a gate drive type semiconductor device Q1 when the device Q1 is turned on. This circuit connects a capacitor C1 between the reference terminal of the gate drive type semiconductor device Q1 and the positive terminal of a driver U1 and connects a filter resistor R2 between the plus terminal of the driver U1 and the plus terminal of a voltage source V1.
