Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the rigidity by simplifying a structure in a gantry shaped davit type boat lifting device for hanging a boat being mounted such as a rescue boat or a high-speed boat and carrying the boat into/out of a mother ship.
SOLUTION: This gantry shaped davit type boat lifting device 5 includes a gantry shaped davit 6 supported turnably on a ship body 1, a wire rope 7 going out from a turning leading end portion of the davit 6 and coming in via a hanging point sheave 41, and a winch 9 for driving the wire rope 7, and turns the davit 6 and carries a mount boat 4 hung by the rope 7 into/out of the mother ship 1. The davit 6 has a box structure where metal plates are joined to each other into a box shape, having closed section and the sheave 41 and a guide sheave 42 are placed from a side board 21 of the davit 6 in a projected manner and the wire rope 7 wound around the sheaves 41 and 42 is placed outside the davit 6.
