Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear change control method and a gear shift control device for allowing a reduction in size, weight and cost of a continuously variable transmission mechanism using a traction drive continuously variable transmission while maintaining a good control property.
SOLUTION: The gear shift control method for controlling the change gear ratio of the continuously variable transmission 21 so that the output rotating number of the continuously variable transmission mechanism 20 having the traction continuously variable transmission is a preset rotating number comprises estimating a tilting angle Φ of a power roller 21c of the continuously variable transmission 21 in accordance with an input rotating number and the output rotating number and estimating the position of the power roller 21c in accordance with the estimate tilting angle Φ and a command value for a driving device for regulating the tilting angle Φ of the power roller 21c, and feedback controlling a position command for the power roller 21c in accordance with the estimated position of the power roller 21c.
