To provide a gear finishing method which can reduce the tool cost, and the size and the cost of a finishing facility.
A product gear 2 is finished by engaging a tool gear 1 formed of a fiber reinforced plastic with a product gear 2 to be finished, and jointly turning the tool gear 1 with the product gear 2.
