Abstract:
To provide a gear rolling die suppressing reduction in molding accuracy to reduce the cost of the die while suppressing formation of a gap between adjacent two pieces during rotation of the die.SOLUTION: A gear rolling die 1 is structured so that a plurality of pieces 11-18 each having a gear part 31 on its outer peripheral arc surface and having a substantially fan shape in plan view, are connected with one another, and is configured in a cylindrical state as a whole. The adjacent two pieces of the plurality of pieces 11-18 are connected with one another by engagement between a protruding part 21a formed on the side surface of one of the pieces and a recessed part 22b formed on the side surface of the other piece. The protruding part 21a has a tapered shape tapered toward the outside from the side surface of one of the pieces, and the recessed part 22b has a tapered shape tapered toward the inside from the side surface of the other piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
