Title:
GENE ENCODING PLATELET PRODUCTION STIMULATING FACTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11318458
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To obtain a DNA capable of mass-producing a uniform human platelet production stimulating factor and useful for the treatment of diseases accompanied by thrombocytopenia by encoding a protein containing a specific amino acid sequence.
This gene is capable of encoding a protein containing an amino acid sequence of the 22nd to the 286th residues or the 1st to the 286th residues in a sequence represented by the formula. A transformed cell such as Escherichia coli containing a recombinant vector containing the DNA is preferably cultured to produce the protein.
