To provide a method and/or means for picking out one cell and analyzing it and for quantitatively monitoring expression level of various genes with maintaining two-dimensional information of a tissue.
The invention provides a method for obtaining gene expression level in any loci or all of the target loci at one cell level positional resolution by producing cDNA library from mRNA with maintaining two-dimensional cell distribution information in a living tissue. More concretely, sheet shape cDNA library is produced from mRNA with maintaining two-dimensional cell distribution information in the living tissue and this is repeatedly used in gene expression detection steps, thereby realizing a high precision expression distribution measurement for a large number of genes.
