Title:
GENERATION CONTROL DEVICE FOR HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3697826
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conventionally perform control that a generation output is generated first to serve as a required generation output successively a rotational speed is set to a target engine speed of minimum fuel consumption, but provide the point at issue that fluctuation of the engine speed is increased and leading to an engine stall, so as to attain elimination of these problems, in a generation control device for a hybrid electric vehicle formed so as to charge a battery by an engine generation device such as when the battery feeding power to a vehicle driving motor is consumed.
SOLUTION: Control is performed such that target torque TT for generating a required generation output by a target engine speed NT is calculated, first the torque serves as the target torque TT, successively a rotational speed serves as the target engine speed NT. When the control is thus performed, a fluctuation of the rotational speed from the target engine speed NT is maximum when the torque is the target torque TT, to be smaller than in the past. Leading to an engine stall is also eliminated.
