PURPOSE: To attain the mechanical generation management of a compiling unit with high efficiency by storing the necessary information on the generation management of the compiling unit into a load module and using a generation managing program which handles those stored information.
CONSTITUTION: A compiler 12 translates a source program into the corresponding train of machine word instructions and outputs it as a compiling unit. Then a linker 14 connects and compiles the compiling units outputted from the compiler 12 and outputs them as a practicable load module. The generation information the compiling unit produced by the compiler 12 is stored in a generation information storing area set in the load module. Then a generation control program 16 controls the generation of the compiling unit forming the load module outputted from the linker 14 based on the generation information contained in the load module.
