The generator 1 comprises a water vapor taking equipment 2 for taking water vapor out of the earth, a heat exchanger 4 for vaporizing a low boiling point medium having a lower boiling point than that of water to form steam by heat exchange with the water vapor taken out of the earth, a solar heat collector 5 for collecting solar heat, a solar heat receiver 6 for receiving the solar heat collected and heating the steam formed at the heat exchanger 4 to a temperature higher than a saturated steam temperature to form superheated steam by heat exchange with the solar heat received, a steam turbine 7 for generating electricity by the use of the formed superheated steam, and a dynamo 8.
