Abstract:
To realize both smooth movement of the legs of an occupant and load resistance when moving between a wheelchair and a vehicle seat and getting in a vehicle.SOLUTION: A getting-on/off assisting device for a vehicle comprises a board 10 capable of moving between a horizontal posture which is substantially horizontal at a seat side part position located on a door opening part 110 of a vehicle seat 104a and an orthogonal posture which is substantially orthogonal to a vehicle width direction in a cabin, and the device has a support part 20 which supports the board 10 from below at the seat side part position. The board 10, in a vehicle plane view in the horizontal posture, is formed to have, in a front side part, a width narrow area 10F which is narrower toward a vehicle front from behind a rear side part forward, and the support part 20 is disposed at a place corresponding to at least the width narrow area 10F in the vehicle longitudinal direction of the board 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
