This gimmick is provided with a first doll body 20 and a second doll body 30 arranged on a base to be opposed to each other, a reciprocating member 40 connected by a hinges with a first and second arms 21 and 31 of the first and second doll bodies 20 and 30 while being formed into a hand saw shape, a rocking member 50 pivotally supported by a base stand so as to let the reciprocating member be supported in such a way as to be freely rocked, and with a driving member allowing the reciprocating member to be reciprocated. This driving means is formed out of a tension spring 60 energizing the rocking member 50 to be rocked into one direction, a wire 70 formed out of a shape memory alloy energizing the rocking member to the opposite direction by means of thermal deformation against the energizing force of the tension spring 60, and with a power supply to carry a current so as to electrically heat the wire 70.
