Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a glass block for a ring laser, in which a laser fine hole is formed by using a thick glass tube as a raw material glass tube, and by which the drill working process of the laser fine hole which takes a long period of time can be omitted, and polishing of the inner wall of the laser fine hole having been needed conventionally is made unnecessary in addition to the omission of the drill working process, and to provide the glass block for the ring laser.
SOLUTION: In the glass block for the ring laser having laser fine holes 1 for the ring laser by a gas laser, three or more glass tubes 6 in which the inclined end faces 61 having specified angles are formed and mirror attaching parts 11 are hollowed out at the both ends are integrated by bonding and fixing the inclined end faces 61 to each other by heating and melting, and the glass block for the ring laser is obtained.
