Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass bottle inspection apparatus which blocks at least a part of light which is made incident in a specific area of a glass bottle, reflected by the specific area and entering a camera, to detect burr formed in a bottle orifice or a specific portion of a bottle body or the like by imaging.SOLUTION: A glass bottle inspection apparatus comprises: illumination LEDs 1, 2 for projecting light to a specific portion of a glass bottle 1; a camera CAM1 for imaging the specific portion of the glass bottle 1; covering materials 5-1, 5-2 for blocking a part of light projected from the illumination to the specific portion; and an image processing apparatus for processing an image obtained by the camera to detect burr B in the specific portion. The covering materials 5-1, 5-2 are arranged to block at least a part of the light incident from the illumination on a surface of the specific portion, reflected by the surface, and entering the camera CAM1.
