Abstract:

PURPOSE:To prevent a crack and a damage by fitting the glass which is softened under a high temperature by interposing a glass welding preventive film in an annular body, as a glass body so that the end face of this glass goes to almost the same plane as the end face of the annular body. CONSTITUTION:An inclined face 4 going to the center is formed in one end of the inside peripheral surface 2 of a metallic annular body 1, and an inclined face 6 is formed by setting a crossing angle of said face 4 and the end face 5 of the annular body 1 to an acute angle of about 45 deg., and also, inclining gently to the inside peripheral surface 2 in the inner direction. Subsequently, on the inside peripheral surface 2, a glass welding preventive film 7 of thickness having a peeling property is formed, and in such a state, glass 9 which is softened under a high temperature is fitted in so that its end face 9a goes to almost the same plane as the end face 5, by which a glass body 9a is formed. In such a way, even if a glass body 9A repeats expansion and contraction by its temperature variation, the annular body 1 and the glass 9 are brought to press-contacting precisely but not welded due to the film 7 generated on the inside peripheral surface of the annular body 1, therefore, by a sliding action of the film, no shearing force is applied to the glass body 9A, and a crack, etc. are prevented, and it is prevented from leaking gas and a fluid from a joint part.
